Reza Yavari, MD

Reza Yavari, MD, is a renowned endocrinologist and Clinical Faculty at the Yale School of Medicine who has trained many healthcare professionals throughout the US. After practicing Endocrinology and Women’s Health at Yale and renowned spas, Reza Yavari M.D. decided to blend together the cutting edge medicine offered in top medical centers and the healing and relaxing environment of spas into local communities.

Beyond Care’s unique approach has been featured in national media such as the New York Times, National Public Radio, and Yoga Journal, among others, and in just a few years Beyond Care has established itself as a premium obesity center in Connecticut.

Dr. Yavari speaks regularly on national and local radio and television stations. He lectures frequently to general audiences and to healthcare professionals on various topics related to endocrinology, diabetes, women’s health and lifestyle medicine. He also teaches medical students and specialty fellows at the Yale University School of Medicine. He is the author of the first mass-market self-care book on metabolic syndrome, It Must Be My Metabolism (McGraw-Hill; 2007).
